Snowy Pines Reforestation

The mission of our family business is to create meaningful, rewarding work for our family and friends that improves the natural environment.

Primary Services:

Tree planting
Our planting each is season is extensive.  We average over 100,000 trees planted each spring.

Wood is a renewable, reusable, and recyclable resource.  We want people to think about where the wood they use comes from, and try to choose wisely when they purchase wood products.  We work with about fifteen different kinds of native lumber including:

  • Ash
  • Aspen
  • Basswood
  • Butternut
  • Norway Pine
  • Paper Birch
  • Red Maple
  • Red Oak
  • Sugar Maple
  • Tamarack
  • White Oak
  • White Pine
  • White Spruce
Lumber
Salvage logging of blow down, diseased trees and insect damaged forests from our surrounding area provides up to half of our logs.  We make siding, paneling, trim, flooring, and carving blocks.  We run our office with solar electricity produced on site. We also use hot water from solar panels to heat our warm-room-kiln storage facility.

Call for lumber availability and prices.

Wood Flooring
We travel throughout the state to install our wood flooring.  We have five years experience installing and finishing wood floors and have completed training offered through the National Wood Flooring Association.  We offer Red Oak, White Oak, Ash, Maple, Birch and Pine.  Wood floors are bid by the square foot.
